Our Client is one of the longest running M&E Design and Build Contractors in the Yorkshire region. For 30 years they have been providing full building services design and installation services for a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, leisure, residential, health care and industrial amongst others.
Trading upon a strong reputation for delivering cost effective MEP solutions, the business has long supported main contractors, developers and end users develop complex MEP systems that enable a building to be used and enjoyed as it was built or refurbished to be done so.
Whilst the company has invested heavily in 3D technology and revit software, they still utilise and produce 2D AutoCAD drawings and continue to view this as the “basic language” of design projects from which installations are performed. The pre construction design team works extremely closely with the operations team to coordinate all activities and a competent CAD Technician is required who can work quickly in an agile manor to support live schemes.
